Refresher Plus is a comprehensive hybrid program designed for EMTs, AEMTs, and Paramedics seeking recertification. Each course combines flexible online instruction with a regional, in-person skills lab to help participants refresh clinical knowledge, maintain essential skills, and meet applicable renewal requirements.
Regional skills labs are offered at locations throughout North Carolina, including the Northeast, Southeast, Central, Northwest, and Southwest regions. Participants receive structured instruction and support from experienced EMS educators throughout the program.

Program Details
Format: Hybrid—online instruction with a regional, in-person skills lab
EMT Refresher Plus: 80 hours
AEMT Refresher Plus: 100 hours
Paramedic Refresher Plus: 120 hours
Regional Labs: Northeast, Southeast, Central, Northwest, and Southwest North Carolina
Certification Opportunities: ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, and AMLS, depending on provider level and course offering
